Technology Engineer

Location: Unit 5, Fen End, Stotfold, SG5 4BA

Hours: Part Time (08:30 - 13:30 or 13:00 - 17:30)

Rate: £30 - 35k Per Year Salary

• IT & Networking

• Security Systems including CCTV, intruder Alarms, Access Control

• Audio Visual systems (live and conferencing systems)

Job Description:

A good understanding of current technology and IT systems required

Previous similar industry experience would also be highly beneficial but training will be given. Most importantly, we are looking for a team player who is flexible and adaptable - as there are so many aspects to the role, we need someone who is quick thinking and willing to learn!

Due to the nature of the work of our work and client base, it may be necessary to exceed these hours when the workload demands.

Stay-away required for short periods at a time (weekend bonus scheme available)

Key skills needed:

An understanding of IT and networking

Adaptability is key due to the range of services we offer

A good standard of secondary education including English and Mathematics at GCSE level or equivalent

Experience of dealing and interacting with a wide variety of the general public and their enquiries, both face-to-face and over the phone

Core Responsibilities:

• Call & email Handling

• Arranging visits and works for customer

• Repairing and servicing a range of hardware and systems

• Resolving issues onsite

• Installation of systems (good knowledge of installations required)

• Tidiness & Cleaning

  • Ensuring the office environment is clean, tidy and safe
